Their capabilities cover the full compressed air lifecycle, including system design, installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, rentals, parts support, and complete equipment overhauls.
Due to continued growth and the increasing demand for their service capabilities, they are seeking an experienced Air Compressor Service Technician to join their Central Kentucky team.
This is a field-based position focused primarily on industrial rotary screw compressor service, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair work. Candidates with reciprocating, dryer, controls, VFD, or centrifugal compressor experience will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance services on industrial compressed air systems, including rotary screw compressors, reciprocating compressors, dryers, and related equipment.
- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues to identify root causes and provide effective solutions for industrial customers.
- Compressor Repairs & Overhauls: Complete repairs, component replacements, inspections, and equipment rebuilds while maintaining manufacturer standards.
- Compressed Air System Support: Service complete compressed air solutions including compressors, air dryers, filtration equipment, and auxiliary components.
- Customer Support: Build strong relationships with industrial customers by providing professional communication, technical recommendations, and reliable service.
- Technical Documentation: Complete service reports, maintenance records, and communicate findings clearly with customers and internal teams.
Candidate Requirements
- Industry Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience servicing industrial air compressors or related rotating equipment.
- Technical Background: Strong experience with rotary screw compressors is required. Experience with reciprocating compressors, refrigerated/desiccant dryers, VFDs, PLC troubleshooting, or centrifugal compressors is highly desirable.
- Electrical & Mechanical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems, electrical components, controls, sensors, and industrial equipment.
- Customer-Facing Professional: Must be comfortable working directly with industrial customers and representing a professional service organization.
- Independent Field Technician: Ability to manage daily schedules, complete service calls independently, and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
- Driving Requirements: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
